Marin IJ staff photographer Frankie Frost met Peter Coyote, George Daly and me up at the Air Force Station ruins on Friday to shoot a photo session for an upcoming article about the film. It turns out that Pete is a world-class comedian... it was an extremely fun morning. Frankie's assistant on the shoot was his son Tyler, an up-and-coming videographer himself. My wife Sondra helped out with the diffuser and George's wife Mary Anne took all these shots. Nels Johnson of the IJ is writing the article and it should hit the stands sometime next week, just before the premier. (A little bit of serendipity is that Frankie has a photograph in the film that he shot in 1984 of Perry Cole tearing down the roof of one of the old barracks. Thirty years later and this is still a story.)
BTW... the premiere is getting close to being sold-out, so if you're on the fence, get your tickets now. It'll definitely be sold out before showtime.
